Depress machine

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you regarding the coffee machine that we recently purchased from your company. Although we are pleased with the quality of the coffee it produces and its affordability, we are facing a problem with the machine itself. The machine seems to be rather unhappy and we are struggling to cheer it up.

Previously, the machine would brighten up our mornings with its cheerful demeanor and the delicious coffee it produced. However, lately it appears to have lost its spirit and no longer has the same enthusiasm as before. This has been quite disappointing for our team as we rely on the coffee machine to lift our spirits and help us power through our workday.

We have tried various ways to improve the machine's mood, such as cleaning it thoroughly and providing it with regular maintenance. However, we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to cheer it up. We hope that you can provide us with some guidance or support to help us get the machine back to its former state.

We are hopeful that this issue can be resolved promptly so that we can once again enjoy our mornings with the delicious coffee that your machine produces.

We look forward to hearing from you soon

Yours sincerely,

Richard

Sport and health

There are some dangerous and extreme sports. For example, pulling tonne´s trucks on a rope, surfing a six-metre wave, and running an ulthra marathon in a desert. However, how much exercise should we do? According to a study, adults should be doing 150 minutes of moderate exercis e or seventy-five minutes of vigorous exercise each week. This includes strength exercises and aerobic activities like jogging or cycling, which improve stamina . Experts recommend a mixture of low-impact exercise and high-impact activities (such as running and jumping). Additionally, another recommendation is exercises that improve flexibility , for instance, yoga or pilates. From my view, people need to find an exercise type that they enjoy and then make it part of their daily routine.  Can you be able to do thirty minutes of moderate exercise per day? Alternatively, why don't you practice thirty minutes of vigorous activity three times a week?

The last straw - La gota que colmó el vaso

"The last straw" is an expression in British English that is used to describe a situation where something small or seemingly insignificant becomes the final straw, meaning the situation that makes someone reach their limit and can't tolerate any more. This comes from the idea of adding straws to a bundle of hay until one more straw is what breaks the whole bundle. The earliest recorded use of a similar phrase was in Charles Dickens' novel "Dombey and Son" in 1848, where he wrote, " As the last straw breaks the laden camel's back ." This suggests that the concept behind the idiom was already well-established in English language and culture by the mid-19th century. So while we don't have a specific, pinpointed origin, it's safe to say that the concept of the final, decisive event or factor causing a person to reach their limit has been a part of English language and culture for a very long time. Examples: 1. After weeks of working non-s...
